Job Description:
Aspire92 is looking for a detail-oriented Notice Analyst to join our Consultancy Department. The ideal candidate will primarily be responsible for handling regulatory, tax, and compliance notices for individuals and businesses, especially related to the US tax system. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills, and the ability to coordinate with clients and regulatory bodies effectively.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Review, interpret, and respond to IRS and state tax notices or other regulatory correspondence for individual and business clients.
- Prepare draft replies, supporting documents, and maintain comprehensive notice records and audit trails.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities (IRS, state tax departments) on behalf of clients.
- Conduct tax and legal research using reliable resources to ensure accurate responses.
- Coordinate with internal teams (including financial analysts and tax preparers) for notice resolution.
- Track deadlines and ensure timely responses to all notices and compliance communications.
- Assist clients in understanding the implications of received notices and guide them through the resolution process.
- Prepare technical and professional memos, letters, and summaries for client communication.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of US tax compliance requirements, notice types, and appeal procedures.
- Contribute to process improvement and documentation for notice-handling procedures.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- ACCA / CA / CFA partially qualified or equivalent finance/accounting background.
- Prior experience in handling tax notices (US IRS experience strongly preferred).
- Excellent written communication skills with ability to draft formal letters and responses.
- Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with US tax systems (Forms, IRS portals, deadlines, procedures).
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and payroll is a plus.
- Bilingual proficiency (English and Urdu) preferred.
- Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Previous experience working with US-based clients is a significant advantage.
